Saturday was another busy day. It was the day of our vendor fair, which was one of the biggest I’ve seen at a spanking party. We had twenty vendors (if I’m remembering right), including well-known ones like London Tanners, Wood Worx, Blush Industries, and S/He Shed Supplies. I was also there, selling my books.
Special thanks to a local friend of mine who was volunteering at the vendor fair and organized my display on the right a bit more artfully than I had originally done. Also, please excuse the mess behind my table; we had to put that stuff somewhere.
One of the things I’m particularly proud of about our vendor fair was our silent raffle. A lot of spanking party vendor fairs will do a silent auction, where people will write down on a piece of paper what they’re willing to bid for a specific item, and the highest bid wins it. The problem with that is that if someone decides they don’t want the item after all then all they have to do is not claim it and they don’t have to pay. By doing this as a raffle, we guaranteed payment; any attendee could pay $1 for a raffle ticket, write their number on the back, and put the ticket in a box. If their ticket was pulled, they’d get a text telling them they won the item. It went over exceptionally well, and a lot of people complimented the idea. Not only that, but every prize was distributed to every winner. And on top of that, we raised $972 for Trans Lifeline, which we’re going to round up to $1000 because I like round numbers.
After the vendor fair, I put on my sparkly suit and we went down to dinner. The theme was “Atlantis” and there were several great costumes, including some that were light-up, some that were ridiculous, and some that were sexy. I also gave a small speech, and Assaulted Peanut, who was the hospitality coordinator, convinced everyone to give me a standing ovation that went on just long enough for it to get weird.

It was dungeon time again, and LDP and I took Partner 1 down to the dungeon to co-top her. On Sunday morning we were a little short on volunteers so I did badge check duty for our Judicial Punishment event and then helped break it down. I hung out in the hospitality suite for a bit after that, and then went to the M/M suite party, where I made good on my promise to spank the gentleman who was the first person I ever spanked. He was dressed in female-presenting form, so technically the pronouns should be “she”, but one thing about our gender-specific parties is that we want people to attend whichever ones they feel most comfortable attending. She could easily have taken more, but it was just for fun and it was the only chance we would get to play all weekend.

We got back from dinner and Partner 1 and I cuddled for a bit before I went back to the suites. I had plans to meet up with a couple of people, but one didn’t reply to my text and the other wasn’t feeling up to it. I did, however, get to use my new strap on several people — most who I’d spanked before, and one who I hadn’t (but I didn’t spank her enough to get her onto the Hit List). It was a fun scene; four or five bottoms and several tops tagging in and out.
Because my other scenes didn’t happen, I decided it was time to go to bed. There were no spankings on Monday because the staff had to break down, pack up, and depart with all of our stuff.
Overall I would say GASP was an absolute success, and I’m very proud of how it went. I look forward to the next few weeks (not next week, but after that) where I can share with you how it all came together. I hope you got to come, and if you didn’t, well… there’s always next year.

You are entirely correct to say that GASP was an absolute success. It was a huge success. Considering it was the inaugural year of a national party, it was remarkable that it was so carefully planned, so well executed, so smooth in the way the events ran. Unless they already knew it was the first year of a new party nobody would have guessed it was new.
You are entitled to feel proud of how it went – you earned that right and that legitimate pride through the immense effort of time and hard planning work that went into the preparation. Enormous kudos to you and your committee.
