Although I’m already writing ahead, in terms of linear time it’s been three months since the start of the holiday stories, and I wanted to share with you some of my favorite holidays that I’ve written about.
- January
- National Take-Down-The-Christmas-Tree Day, because I really like the story I wrote for it.
- National Step-In-A-Puddle-And-Splash-Your-Friend Day, because it started a through-line for a character I’m really enjoying writing.
- Feast of the Ass, because of… well… reasons.
- Thomas Crapper Day, because of the — to me, anyway — clever way I made it work.
- February
- Propose Day, because that’s when I finally found the right way to come back to two characters from Baker’s Dozen and move them forward the way I wanted to.
- Cow Milked While Flying In An Airplane Day, because it’s so ridiculous.
- March
- What If Cats And Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs Day, again because of the ridiculous nature.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Day, because it reminded me of someone I’ve spanked a few times who once wore TMNT panties.
- National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, because it seems like someone’s celebrated that one an awful lot.
There are, of course, several other good ones, but those are my top nine for the first quarter of the year.
