I’ve spent about a month actively looking for the Sare Ree story, with no luck. I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

So I wrote an outline for a novella/novelette that updates the first part of the Sare Ree story for the current era (prank calls really aren’t a thing anymore) and I hope to start writing the actual story this week. Amusingly, I got the idea for the inciting incident from an episode of Tanked, of all things.

From the outline:

He says how angry he is about the glitter, and she genuinely apologizes. Robert says “maybe someone SHOULD spank you. Maybe then you’ll stop.” Melissa nods. “I deserve it.”

This ought to be fun.
