For many moons now, we (that is, AASS, the group that puts on GASP) have been trying to do some sort of spanko night at the local dungeon in Atlanta, Rumors. Recently (in the past few months) Rumors has opened up on Friday nights for special-interest groups, provided you follow specific guidelines laid out by their management. 

Well, it’s finally happening! On Friday night, October 23, from 8pm-12am, GASP presents a Night of Spanking at Rumors! This will follow the same general rules as our spanking party does: all play must revolve around spanking. Light bondage/rope is acceptable as long as spanking is also involved. No complicated rope scenes, no other forms of play (knife, electric, primal, etc.); just spanking, spanking, and more spanking. 

We’re going to start things off with a session of our Spanking Carousel, where tops find a place to sit and bottoms (or switches who choose to bottom) approach them for a brief hand spanking. Bottoms (or switches who choose to bottom) will also have a bingo card, and the first two people to get a bingo will win a prize — either $50 off your GASP 2027 ticket or free admission to a future Rumors event. 

How do you get vetted for Rumors? Here’s their forum on Fetlife where you can learn exactly that. It’s not exactly an onerous process, but you have to go through it or else you won’t be given the address of the venue. As far as A Night of Spanking goes, vetting is controlled in part by Rumors and in part by AASS, which means that even if you get vetted for this specific event you may not be vetted to attend the dungeon in general. And even if you have the dungeon address, every name is checked against an RSVP list and if your name’s not on it you can’t get in. This happens at every Rumors event.
