Some time ago — maybe two years? — I bought a Corian paddle from The Beav Woodworking, and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s good for sensation play (it gets quite cold) and it is very thuddy. Well, about six or seven months ago, I asked The Beav if he could make a larger Corian paddle. He said he’d have to get in touch with his supplier, and it would take some time, but I was okay with waiting.
Recently he messaged me that he had finished the paddle, and I picked it up at a local munch. I’m not going to tell you what he charged me because I might have gotten a friends-and-family rate, but let’s just say it cost less than I expected. It is two sheets of Corian, fused together and crafted into a paddle with about a nine-inch impact zone. It’s also an inch wide. It is heavy.

That very same night I spanked Partner 1 with it. I started just holding it about three feet above her backside and letting gravity make the impact. Even then, it was a big thud, and she really liked it. I also gave her a few light-to-medium actual swats with it, and she liked that too.
Now I just need to get a paddle sock to keep it protected in my toy bag. Until then, I’ll probably just use one of my compression socks since they’re long enough.
I’m really looking forward to using this paddle more.
Oh, by the way, it’s called “whipped cream” because that’s the official color/pattern of the paddle. It’s kind of hard to see in the picture, but there is some marbling in the surface.
