At Oasis Labor Day 2025, one of the women I spanked is an aspiring professional in the kink/sex work community. That’s not the reason why I spanked her, but it’s important to the story.
I like getting reactions when I spank people. Whether they’re big or small, laughs or moans, happy or dismayed, they’re all cherished. When I play with my partners, I adore their reactions, and I know they’re 100 percent genuine because I know them.
But when I play with someone for the first time, I can’t know for sure if their reactions are genuine or not. And with this aspiring professional, I had my doubts.
Look, it’s entirely possible that when she gets spanked by anyone she moans loudly. I might just be a good spanker and she might have just been enjoying herself. But something else stood out as well.
Usually when I play with someone for the first time I talk to them a little more, making sure they’re okay, reconfirming their consent, that sort of thing. Once someone has been spanked for a while, they often go into subspace to at least a certain extent. When this happens, their voice changes and they become “softer” (at least in my experience). But with this aspiring professional, it was like she turned the moaning on and off, interspersing with laughter (consensual, not at me) and commentary. This might just be how she is, or she might have been acting — playing it up a little.
I’m inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt — she wasn’t trying to get me to engage in professional kink or sex work. We were just having a good time. And afterward, when she stood up, she was unsteady on her feet — always a sign of a good spanking. (She wasn’t inebriated and to the best of my knowledge she doesn’t have balance issues.) So I’d like to think I did a good job, and that her reactions were genuine. But sex workers of any type — kink or otherwise — have a certain image to maintain, and she might have been practicing hers on me a little bit.
Well, whatever. I enjoyed myself, and she said she enjoyed herself. If she was practicing, so be it.
