Other than one long scene in the dungeon with Partner 1, one of the only times I used an implement at GASP 2025 was with my long-distance partner. We were playing and she had a new small paddle/strap thing. I gave it a shot, didn’t love it, and went back to using my hand.

I think a lot of people underestimate the power of a good hand spanking. I gave 30 hand spankings during GASP 2025, and they were all great. (To be fair, most of them were relatively brief, given that we were at the Spanking Carousel event, but they still counted.) I get to touch a butt, the bottoms get their butts touched, and there’s a degree of intimacy that can lend itself to comfort, especially in an OTK situation. When I’m giving a hand spanking, it’s just me, my hand, the bottom, and the bottom’s bottom. Everything else just fades away.

I did end up assing my hand a little — that’s when you bruise or otherwise damage your hand while giving a spanking. I have this one spot that got nicked a few years ago at Lone Star, and now it’s more likely to break open. It doesn’t bleed, but I usually put a bandage on it to help cushion the impact. My skin being dry didn’t help matters either.. And I only spanked with my right hand — I can use my left, but it’s not as satisfying.

More than one person has said my hand spankings are “perfect” — and no, I didn’t pay them to do so. It’s a matter of impact, intensity, positioning, rhythm, and a ton of unpredictable variables like how much the bottom’s bottom is covered by underwear (or not covered, as the case may be), how frequently they’ve been spanked recently, how sore they are if they got a recent spanking (or we’re at a spanking party), how they’re feeling, how their hormones are affecting their pain tolerance, and even the temperature of the room and the height of the bed/couch/chair/massage table/spanking bench being used. I guess I’m just good at naturally adapting to the variables.

It’s nice to have a talent. At least, one besides my talent of always getting in the right checkout line just before the crowd shows up. Also a useful talent, but not one related to spanking.
