A nice message

At GASP, I tried really hard to sell books. I was running around a lot during the vendor fair, though, what with running our silent raffle. I did sell a few, and I even sold an audiobook.

How? I’m glad you asked.

There’s this woman from Canada who I have played with a few times. I knew she drove down — 18 hours — so she had a long drive back. I asked her if she liked audiobooks, and when she said yes, I gave her a flyer for Lessons. She said she’d listen to it.

And she actually did. She said:

I listened to Lessons on the way home and it was indeed wonderful! Excellent job!

That’s what I’m here for: for people to enjoy my work. I know I’ll never make good money off it — I can just about go to dinner or buy 60 percent of a week’s worth of groceries with what I make on my books each month — but if I can make people feel things that’s just as good.

If you haven’t read Lessons, give it a shot. You’ll probably like it, especially if you like princesses getting spanked.
