Bad gas travels fast in a small town

The spanko community is a pretty small town. Sure, there are a lot of spankos out there, but not all of us join the community, preferring to keep things to ourselves.

And, as they say on Letterkenny, “bad gas travels fast in a small town.”

About… oh… let’s say a year and a half ago, I met someone new and did a scene with her. The scene was a lot of fun and we both enjoyed ourselves, and I thought we were going to be friends. She’s a content creator, but I’m not, and I didn’t really want to become one. So we drifted apart, because I think she wanted me to help her create content. We chatted a bit over the next few months, but it became clear that she was out to make money in the spanking video business, using whatever connections in the community that she could.

A couple of months ago, I was advised that this person has been spreading rumors, badmouthing people, and engaging in unsafe personal behavior. She got herself banned from more than one event for this. Now, this person seemed super-nice to me, and while I knew she had engaged in some questionable things I didn’t realize just how bad of a person she had become — especially as it relates to someone who helped her out. But the bad gas traveled fast, and all the spanking party leaders now know she is a bad actor. To the best of my knowledge, she’s never broken anyone’s consent or anything, but she’s still acted in unsavory ways, and spankos don’t want that in their community. It’s hard enough to build a community when everyone is behaving themselves.

I’m writing this because I recently learned that this person ended a short relationship with a well-known spanker who has chosen to remain outside the community. The first thing I thought of was: “she’s not just burning bridges, she’s torpedoing them.” It’s entirely possible that the relationship ended because of distance, or because of incompatibility, but given what I know about this person, I’m more likely to believe that the well-known spanker saw through her facade and decided not to associate with her anymore.

It’s really too bad; had she comported herself differently, I bet she could’ve been a decently-popular spanking model with a lot of friends and good connections. Alas, that is not the way she chose to go.
