I’ve talked in the past about Fetlife’s “For You” algorithm (though I can’t find the post on here so maybe I only did it on social media) and how rough it was in the beginning. Fortunately, it’s learned more about me these past few weeks and now when I click on it I get a good portion of spanking content.

Also, for some reason, I get pictures of women inserting hairbrushes into themselves. This is not a kink of mine; I can only guess that because I’ve liked pictures with the tag of “hairbrush” the algorithm assumes I like all pictures with hairbrushes in them.

Look, I get it: sometimes you just want to stick something inside. But that’s what we have dildos for. Or fingers. Or penises. Or tongues. But hairbrushes? They sometimes live in the bathroom (at least, mine always did, back when I had hair) and bathrooms are not always the cleanest place. They rarely get cleaned (although I do remember when I was a kid my mom used to clean all of our hairbrushes at least once every couple of weeks by submerging them in a sink full of water and, I believe, bleach). Generally it’s not too bright to stick dirty things into one’s body. I can only hope that all these people who do hairbrush insertions are cleaning their hairbrushes before and after — especially if they go in the butt.

Eventually I’m sure the algorithm will improve and show me less “hairbrush insertion” content while also showing me more “hairbrush spanking” content, but until then, I guess I’ll just scroll past what I don’t want to see, just like usual.
