(I just realized that that title could be taken in kind of a gross way, but I like it too much to change it.)

One thing I noticed when reviewing my Amazon stats is that a lot of people tend to read Butt Stuff every month. I’m not sure why that one gets so much readership; it’s a good book, if I do say so myself, but I don’t promote it almost at all. It is the one that gets the most attention when I’m at events, because of the title, but it’s not my top seller.

Out of boredom today I went onto Amazon and searched “butt stuff”, just to see where I come up in the results. Now, I don’t know if the algorithm changes based on the person, but Butt Stuff was number 18 on the search results, which puts it on the first page. That’s pretty cool, right?

I would love to see Amazon’s stats on how many people actually search for the phrase “butt stuff”. There are a lot of shirts that say something along the lines of “get in, loser, we’re doing butt stuff”, and maybe people are searching for that item. They then find my book and are intrigued. And they’re clearly reading at least the first few pages, based on my own stats.
