I got a new strap!

I have a more “traditional” strap — the kind with the big wooden handle — but I find wielding that a little difficult. This new one? Much easier. It comes from The London Tanners, and it was, in a word, not cheap. But they make amazing stuff, and this strap is one such amazing thing. The other side has some imprinted words on it, but this side has faux-crocodile skin, and that’s the side I like to hit with, it seems.

It’s also a very heavy strap, and very stiff. I’m sure it’ll soften with age and use, but for now it’s quite firm, and I don’t have to swing it very hard to get a yelp or an ouch, as I discovered at GASP — I tested it on Partner 1, and I also tested it during a group scene that I’ll write about when I do my full recap. Both uses were quite effective.

I look forward to spanking many more butts with this strap over the years.
