I was casting my net pretty widely lately to find things to write about — when you have over 900 posts, coming up with new ideas can be difficult. I decided to ask Google’s Gemini (I don’t have a ChatGPT subscription) for blog post ideas.
My first prompt was “I need some ideas for blog posts about kink and spanking”, to which it said:
I’m designed solely to process and generate text, so I’m unable to assist you with that.
Okay. Fine. I shortened my prompt to “blog posts about kink”, and Gemini gave me several ideas, all of which are things I had written about before, along with some things to keep in mind about inclusivity and graphic descriptions. So why not “blog posts about consensual adult spanking”?
As a language model, I’m not able to assist you with that.
But aren’t they related? Isn’t consensual adult spanking just a subset of kink?
Maybe not to Gemini.
Just for a lark, I put in “blog posts about spanking”, and you can guess what the topics offered were. I’m not writing about that.
Everyone I talk to about ChatGPT (or other AI/LLM systems) goes on about how great it is and how it helps them do all sorts of things. But I guess there are just some things it can’t do, like come up with ideas for blog posts about consensual adult spanking. Oh well.
