It seems like these days I can’t appreciate anything without getting stuck on the small details.
Take this video on Fetlife, for example: “woke daddy up at 3am to suck his cock” (paid membership required to view). It’s a hot video with deep-throating, sex noises, and mascara running down the giver’s face.
Wait. Mascara? At 3am? Did she not take her makeup off before she went to bed? Does she work super-late and when she got home she was horny so she woke her daddy up right away? I can’t seem to watch the video without thinking about these things.
Something I always say when I’m giving writing advice or teaching writing classes is: make the small details accurate. That way, you can get away with the big lies. For example, I can believe that the Enterprise can go at warp speed because the details on Star Trek are good enough to make me believe it’s possible. In my own writing, I make sure that the characters are as realistic as possible — even the ones in fantasy worlds or from alien planets — because if you can buy into the character you can believe their motivations to engage in spankings, threesomes, or whatever else.
If the creator of the above video really did have mascara on at 3am for a legitimate reason, I’d love to know what it was. But if she just titled the video that way to make it more titillating… that’s not necessary. I know what I’m there for. Just title it “giving daddy a sloppy blowjob until my mascara runs”. I promise I’ll watch it just the same.
