I don’t know if she’s in the minority, but I definitely agree with her. I understand that sometimes a spank that doesn’t sound good still hurts a hell of a lot, but there’s just something about the crack! of a leather strap, or the whack! of a wooden paddle, or the pop! of a hairbrush. The sound itself has its own impact, and even if it doesn’t hurt as much, it still triggers something in the bottom (most of the time). Especially if it’s a punishment spanking.

It’s why, annoyingly, I have this great video of me spanking a former sub (which I unfortunately can’t share because it shows both of our faces) that I don’t enjoy as much as I could. The video doesn’t capture the sound of the impact as well as it should have done. The swats sound dull, even though they were delivered in a room with a hardwood floor and high ceilings. In person they were wonderful, but on video? Not so much. I mean, sure, she screams and cries, which is always a treat, but it’s not quite the same if you don’t have the right sound.

I guess that’s why professional video-making spanking tops practice as much as they do. A good spanking slaps.
