30 Days of Kink, Day 30: Whatever BDSM/kink related thing you want to write about.

Something that really bothered me about the kink world is the concept of what I call the Tumblrdom. This is someone who only learned BDSM from the internet, usually Tumblr, and doesn’t know how to be a good member of the BDSM community. Tumblrdoms embody the worst traits of D-types in BDSM, and I can spot one a mile away.

However, with the fall of Tumblr as they crack down on adult content, I wonder what effect this will have on the BDSM community at large. Will potential Tumblrdoms join Fetlife or Reddit and learn more about what not to do so they don’t do it? Or will they migrate to another platform and continue their Tumblrdom ways? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
