30 Days of Writing, Day 03 → How do you come up with character names?

I like to keep my character names “normal”. I subscribe to a certain e-book library and I swear every other book has a Mackenzie or a Madison or an Aiden or something that doesn’t sound like the kind of people I grew up with. I mean, the main characters in Shell Game are mostly biblical – Michael, Sarah, Rebecca, Sam, Ruth, Danielle (Daniel)…

Mostly I come up with the names by going through my Facebook feed and pulling first names from my friends.
