Finding someone you love who isn’t into BDSM the way you are. Or, worse, finding someone you love who is, but then realizing that person lives in a different time zone – or, worse, on a different continent. The internet has brought us together in ways we never could have been even as little as twenty years ago, but it’s also opened us up to heartbreak when we meet and fall for people who live so far away that, in order to be together, someone’s going to have to be completely uprooted.
