30 Days of Kink, Day 18: Any kinky/BDSM pet peeves? If so, what are they?

I have a lot of trouble with people who take themselves too seriously. I know some people are into that, and that’s fine – and in all honesty, sometimes seriousness is important. But people who immediately expect me to be “properly submissive”, or the reverse – who expect me to be a certain way when I’m dominant… that gets on my nerves. I always try to be friends first. That way, when I do have to put on my serious face, my partner knows how I really feel about things.
